Distracted Truck Driver Accidents

Federal rules ban commercial truck drivers from texting (49 CFR 392.80) and from using hand-held mobile phones while driving (49 CFR 392.82). Texas also bans texting while driving for all drivers (Tex. Transp. Code §545.4251). Phone records, dashcam video and in-cab cameras can prove distraction.
